1- The creator of the app DJEO is: Deer Lord Games BV (company no. BE0644744053)] whose registered office is at Kogelstraat 12, 9000 Gent (Belgium).
‘De Scheve Klakskes’ are the group that organizes the Gentse Feesten competition ‘Gentse Uitdagingen’
Concepts defined in these competition rules
The player: anyone who downloads the DJEO app.
A proof video: a video that is uploaded to a challenge in the DJEO app
A challenge: In the DJEO app, a challenge consists out of 4 components: a video showing the challenge, map coordinates, a title and a short description. They prompt the player to take on a challenge which should never go against community guidelines.
2- The competition is open to players who downloaded the DJEO app. Players indicate they want to participate in the competition simply by downloading the DJEO app from an App Store and interacting with any of the challenges on the map that relate to the Gentse Feesten 2022. That means either uploading a video, giving a rating, reporting a video, or any other meaningful interaction relating to the Gentse Feesten 2022.
3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition.
4- By entering the competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5- The promotor will not be responsible if prizes are not exchangeable or are not redeemable. Deer Lord Games BV will not give prizes of equal or higher value in the event the original prize is not available. In this case, no prize will be awarded.
6- Only one entry in the form of a login ID in the DJEO app is accepted per person. Multiple login ID’s from the same person will be disqualified. Players who attempt to game the system can be disqualified on all accounts. You can only log in with Facebook OR Apple log in but you can not log in with both.
7- Date for entry is the start of Gentse Feesten 2022: July 15th. During the whole period of the Gentse Feesten 2022 players can enter the competition. When the Gentse Feesten 2022 are officially over, on July 25th, players can no longer compete.
8- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9- The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
The competitions organized by DJEO is played through the mobile game DJEO. To win the game, players must have installed the app and have a user ID in DJEO that was active during the Gentse Feesten. They must have uploaded at least 1 video.
The 3 categories are defined as follows:
The Champion:
The player with the video that has the highest average score on a proof video. The proof video must have been submitted to an official Gentse Feesten Challenge and have at least 15 ratings by other players. The proof video must adhere to community guidelines, be originally created by the player who uploaded it, must be recorded at the location where the challenge was created and have no copyright violations.
The Innovator
The player with the video that has the highest average score on a challenge video. The challenge must have been created during the Gentse Feesten and have at least 15 ratings by other players. The challenge video, description and title must adhere to community guidelines, be originally created by the player who uploaded it and have no copyright violations. The challenge must be visibly created at the location where the map coordinates point to.
The Favorite
The player with the most followers on DJEO by the end of the Gentse Feesten is the winner of the contest. The followers must be real players and can not be dummy accounts. DJEO has the right to check whether players are real or not. In order to receive the prize, this player must have at least uploaded 1 proof video or created 1 challenge.
A player can not win in more than 1 category. If a player wins in 2 or more categories, a representative from ‘scheve klakskes’ will appoint in which single category that player wins and in which they lose. The competition must end with 3 different winners.
In case of a tie in the ratings or in the follower count, a representative from ‘De Scheve Klakskes’ will appoint a winner.
10- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. The rules of the game can change at any moment and without prior warning to the players. Any changes to the competition can be notified to entrants by the promotor throught the website https://djeo.monkeyshinegames.com or social media.
11- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12- We reserve the right to ban anyone from the competition without a reason to justify the decision.
13- The winner is the owner of the login to Facebook or Apple by which the player uploaded the video’s to the DJEO mobile game.
14- A winner will be chosen no later than 2 weeks after the end of the competition. The winner will be notified via the email by which they entered the competition. If the winner does not respond within 3 working days, they are disqualified from the competition. We hold the right to choose a replacement winner if such a scenario occurs.
15- Deer Lord Games BV will not be held responsible for copyright claims from videos provided by the competition entrant. All videos uploaded by the user in the DJEO app must be free from copyright. All videos uploaded by the user may be used by Deer Lord Games BV for commercial purposes on any medium: (social media, TV advertising, etc) in any form (video, screenshots, audio, etc).
16- The promoter’s decision is final in respect to all matters to do with the competition and the event.
17- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
18- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Belgian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium.
19- The players agree to the use of their video material, uploaded to the DJEO mobile game in any publicity material without being compensated. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current European data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
22- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network.
